Week Six: Test Shoot Practice

Today, I have went to a test shoot to test my photo ability. I took 64 photos, and some of them were taken accidentally, because I have turned on the touch-screen shutter of my camera.  I have used frame in a frame, leading lines, as well as the rule of third and low and high angle.

Here are the contact sheets that I made for my test shoot.

The first photo that I would like to talk about is ZFC_2497.

I have used low angle and the rule of third. The

The bench lied on the middle horizontally and on the lower one third vertically of the frame. Let's have a look on the settings.

The settings were 1/125s f/4.5 ISO-400. I used ISO-400 for a stable setting in a cloudy day. In order to have better field of depth, I chose to use f/4.5 and as a result of balancing the light, I have used 1/125 for the shutter speed. I used the focal length 70mm to make the photo more narrow and tight.

The next photo that I would like to talk about is ZFC_2500.jpg. It was a photo that two car parked behind a small tunnel.

The settings I have used were 1/250s f/4.5 ISO-400. I used ISO-400 for a stable setting in a cloudy day. striking a balance between higher ISO and noise. I chose to use f/4.5 and as a result of balancing the light, I have to use a faster shutter speed of 1/250s. I used 30mm because I wanted to capture more of the entrance of the tunnel to make more contrast of it.
